How can I possibly put words together worthy of this book? I was hooked from the first few pages and it continued throughout the entire book. What a story! I’ve always been a lover of the idea of visiting the past and watching great historical events, and in this book, it’s possible!

Trisha has encapsulated a world in the future that is both amazing and awe-inspiring.

Kaia is a young woman, studying to be a Historian, reflecting on major events in the past that had led to the Earth becoming inhabitable. Her grandfather helped design the world they now live in and their ways so she is considered lucky and escapes punishment easily. However, she has trouble focusing and it causes her to stumble across a way to visit the past wherever she wants and not under the guided eye of her mentors.

I absolutely recommend this book to those who love time travel, historical events, or awesome, rule-breaking-girls with a smart mouth.

Trisha Leigh is a product of the Midwest, which means it’s pop, not soda, garage sales, not tag sales, and you guys as opposed to y’all. Most of the time. She’s been writing seriously for five years now, and has published 4 young adult novels and 4 new adult novels (under her pen name Lyla Payne).
